Bingo

Bingo is the largest fundraiser for the Entertainment Unit. Bingo provides approximately 50% of the Band Booster budget. Every Thursday night, we staff the Bingo Hall in Cypress. The proceeds go towards music, instruments, instrument repairs, competition and festival fees, coaches salaries, the end of the year banquet, equipment, and various other items. The bingo program runs continuously throughout the school year as well as through the summer months.

EACH FAMILY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VOLUNTEERING 10 HOURS A TRIMESTER AT BINGO OR BUY-OUT.

Bingo Trimesters are broken down as follows:

July - October

November - February

March - June

When a family volunteers the ten hours, you will be credited with $50 in your "fair share" account...that equals $150 for the year. If you don't volunteer and want to buy-out, it is $150.

Entertainment Unit families are billed for the "fair share" account which offsets only a portion of the actual costs that are incurred during the year - the remainder comes from fundraisers.
