RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER
When: Tuesday, March 2, 2010
Where: Preveza Restaurant (10931 Los Alamitos Blvd., Los Alamitos, CA 90720)
Who: ALL
What: A fundraiser opportunity to support the entire program; 20% of the restaurant's proceeds from those who bring the flyer during the specified time will be donated back to our organization
Time: TBA
What to bring: Friends and family; Flyer

PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST
When: Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Where: LAHS
Who: 9th graders
What: 9th graders will have to perform a physical fitness test (PFT) in order to receive PE credit for the class
Time: during class period
What to bring: clothes to work out in, water
 
PARADE REHEARSAL
When: Saturday, March 6, 2010
Where: LAHS
Who: Entertainment Unit Wind players (not in jazz band, drumline, or color guard)
What: Our wind players will join with alumni members to rehearse for the 50th Anniversary Los Alamitos Parade on Sat., March 27th
Time: 9am to 11am
What to bring: Rehearsal clothes, instrument, water
 
BOOSTER PARENT MEETING
When: Tuesday, March 9, 2010
Where: LAHS Rm 519 (Instrumental Music Room)
Who: ALL parents
What: An opportunity to meet other Entertainment Unit parents and learn more about the program and ways to be involved and support your student in the program
Time: 7pm to about 8:30pm
Misc: This is a very important opportunity to learn how you can get involved in the growing and expanding  Entertainment Unit. We will discuss upcoming/future dates, volunteering/chaperoning/fundraising opportunities, and other important topics.
 
WGASC MIRA MESA CONTEST (color guard)
When: Saturday, March 13, 2010
Who: Color Guard
What: We will perform our winter guard show before an audience and WGASC judges
Report Time: 1:30pm
Leave LAHS: 2:15pm
Arrive at Site: approx. 4:30pm
Warm-up: 4:45pm
Walk to gym: 6:15pm
Performance time: 6:32pm
Awards: 8:50pm
Leave Competition: approx. 9:15pm
Arrive back at LAHS: approx. 11:15pm
Dismiss Time: approx. 11:45pm
What to bring & wear: Show uniform, equipment, change of clothes, food/snacks or money for food/snacks

When: Saturday, March 20, and Sunday, March 21, 2010

What: We will perform our indoor drumline show before an audience and WGI judges

Who: Concert and Jazz Bands from all schools in the Los Alamitos School District
What: This is a concert performance which showcases all the Band programs that are available in the district

50th ANNIVERSARY LOS ALAMITOS PARADE
When: Saturday, March 27, 2010
Where: starts at LAHS and ends at Rush Park
Who: Entertainment Unit Wind players (not in jazz band, drumline, or color guard)
What: Our wind players will join with alumni members to rehearse for the 50th Anniversary Los Alamitos Parade on Sat., March 27th

Tuesdays and Thursdays - 2:30pm to 6pm    (5pm for now until a proper indoor rehearsal site is found)
