Glen Crosby, Percussion Consultant

Glen Crosby started his percussion career at the age of nine, taking lessons in his home town of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He's been involved with the drum corps activity ever since.  He spent 1981 to 1984 as a member of the Concord Blue Devils, collecting two high drum trophies, and one overall national championship.

His teaching career began in 1985 with the Garfield Cadets. He then moved on to the Santa Clara Vanguard from 1987 to 1990, and returned to SCV from 1996 to 2005.
Glen has also worked with the Blue Knights, Glassmen, Velvet Knights, and the Capital Regiment.

The list of percussionists Glen has worked with in the drum corps activity is long and distinguished, including Ralph Hardimon, Thom Hannum, Jim Casella, Murray Gusseck, Tom Aungst, Scott Johnson, and Tom Float.

All in all, he has been a part of 7 DCI high percussion awards, and 4 DCI national championships. Glen currently works in southern California as a percussion consultant, private teacher, performer, and adjudicator.

Glen returns in 2009 as The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps Percussion Caption Head and Program Coordinator.  He is an endorser of Mapex Marching Drums, Majestic Field Percussion, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and mallets, and Remo drum heads.
