2019 Marching Band Preview

2019 Marching Band Preview

The 2019 Field Show production is based on the art of Yayoi Kusama. Kusama’s art included her fascination with dots. She is also known for her infinity room and obliteration room installations. The repertoire for the show is entirely original, written by Rob Stein with percussion by our own Ezekiel Lanser.

We are excited to announce the 2019 Field Leadership Team and our Band Council:

Fall 2018 Recap

Fall 2018 Recap

In Fall 2018, the Los Alamitos High School Marching Band completed their season undefeated in the Western Band Association (WBA) 3A division with their show entitled “LA OFRENDA.” They were also FINALISTS in the Bands of America SoCal Ragional at LA Valley College. The weekend before Thanksgiving, the band went to Bakersfield, CA for WBA finals, however the competition was cancelled due to poor air quality. With the finals shut down, many schools put together exhibition shows. The Los Al band went to Rowland High School and were able to put on one final performance in front of their peers.
